Dr. Saad Javaid

I am currently serving as the Director of Materials and Manufacturing at National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP). In my current role at NASTP Industrial Innovation Enclave, I am helping set up a Materials and Manufacturing Cluster to house cutting edge Industrial Innovation in this Domain.

A few key highlights about me and my career:

• PhD in Materials Science & Engineering (Fulbright Scholar)
• USAF Academy Young Alumni Award Winner 2024
• 4 Degrees including PhD, MBA and 2 MS from Georgia Tech
• Prime Minister's Gold Medal (Pakistan)
• USAF Academy Distinguished Graduate & Airmanship Instructor Pilot

Served in Academia at NUST in Teaching, Research and Admin Roles:

• Chief Instructor (Deputy HoD) at CAE, NUST
• PG & UG Courses in Aerospace, Materials, Structures
• Research Areas: Deformation Analysis & Fracture Mechanics
